13-2 (featuring Lightning so far) is in production and will be released either end of this year or next.
As a strict Fanille fan, it'd be REALLY good if they were to come back in 13-2. However, given the plot so far, it doesn't seem likely. Still, one can hope.

bofoddity: Random FF7 Thought. (Cloud)

You know, one of the funniest discoveries I've made during my FF7 replay is that Cloud can canonically read sheet music. Canonically he can also play at least one tune with a piano. Fanons have been formed from even tinier things. How come fandom hasn't made more use of this little fact?
